  3. Just as the title says. The default functionality in regards to Ableton is limited out of the box, so it would be great to blue hand control Live's devices etc without the need to utilize a second/additional Controller Surface slot.

  6. if hold a button (on push like shift or select or some other free button)
the first vertical row is for note preview.
so we can prelisten what is on that row when using with something like 64perc drum rack or something else.
maybe with backlit Led with 2 different brightnes to see where the root note is.

  9. In the Session modes of the Launchpad scripts, the accessory buttons understandably relate to Scenes, but it would be very welcome for their default to be the modes and Scene access to be behind the mode/shift button.

  12. ok, here's the thing: the Beatstep (not the Beatstep PRO) has a beastly problem - the encoders, of which there are a ton, they're meant for one thing and one thing only, to step through tiny values. So each little click is one half step, because they're meant for setting the internal sequencer. Well, this makes this unit almost completely useless as a generic MIDI controller because you can do a complete revolution of the knob and only make it through an octave and a half. That means you're scrolling for days if you map it to any normal control…

  13. Being able to specify the Buttons just like you specify the Encoders in the Settings-Encoder Mode List. This would make the script much more flexible. One could decide between mute tracks, select track or even ClyphX Pro actions and so on.
Also being able to specify the buttons in Hazmap mode would be great.

  14. Monome_64-Style Drum Sequencer Matrix Mode w/ Buttons for Drum Cell Focus Navigation & Drum Grid Selector.

Imagine a 64 step sequencer for a single drum cell note, ex: C2. You could program a whole 64 step sequence on this page. Press function button to navigate 1 step up to C2# or down to B1. You press a shift button and you can select the exact drum pad you wish to sequence from the 4x4 drum grid. While you continue to hold this Shift button the Drum CELL Focus Navigation Buttons become the Drum GRID Navigation Buttons.

    It’s be a treat…

  15. As written in the subject line. You can do this with Device Matrix, but not Encoder.

  17. I'd love to see access to either 8 banks via the Scene/accessory buttons or, ideally, 64 banks via the matrix itself. I'd primarily use these banks to organize different pieces/songs in one Live set.

  18. Currently they are set to Cue Volume, it would be a useful addition to Global User mode if these could be set to actions.

On the APC25, the buttons that say Rec Arm, Mute, Solo etc could perform those actions for ease of use.

  19. I never use Stop All Clips. I'm thinking if this was a customizable button (using ClyphX for example), it could be used for something more useful with the AKAI controllers in particular, like Drum Pad Mute. It could still be set to Stop All Clips if needed.

  20. Using Arsenal APM, Changing Encoder Modes with Shift, or at least having the option to, would help a ton with workflow (essentially reversing the Shift and regular state of the Encoder Accessory Buttons in APM)

While it's nice to always have a visual representation of what mode you're in, having to hold down Shift to use the in-Mode Encoder Accessory Button functions is a little frustrating. I have the EABs in Clip Mode set up for some basic transport functions through ClyphX, including Session Record, which in conjunction with a note-based mode would create a really powerful workflow for laying…
