  1. I would like a selection dashboard matrix for visual over-site and quick navigating in 2 layers. The first layer with track selection (around 24 or 32 tracks), some presets for the red box, and direct selection for 8 devices. And in the second layer the device selection stays, but the other pads change to direct device bank selections for several controllers.

  2. It would be very welcome to use at least a few of the accessory buttons on the Launchpad to change the launch quantize for the Session snapshots (without changing the GQ). The select few values could be specified in settings.

  3. Arsenal seems to run on a few controllers that have encoders/faders that send absolute values (APCs, nanoKontrol, SL, etc.), although the script has the capacity to control parameters on a more relative basis. In the case of the APC mini, which I use, there are only absolute faders.

It would be awesome if there were an option to enable relative tracking for absolute controls. Combined with a momentary "Mute" button/button combination for those controls, it would be possible to use them just like endless encoders!

For the momentary "Mute" function, Shift could be used (thought it already modifies the encoder…

  4. It would be awesome if it were possible to adjust the amount by which slices are nudged, and to be able to define custom Note Repeat subdivisions. There are already many other values that like smoothing that can be specified, and these would also be awesome to be able to define in a .txt file.

  5. While in device Mode using Arsenal on the NLC for example there are 2 red buttons that select which bank will be in focus, 1 green button that defines if the device in focus is on or off and the last 2 yellow buttons that work as device left and right.

I was wondering... Would it be possible to make all 8 buttons correspond to each bank.

In Arsenal for example I have all encoder modes which includes all devices so in my LC the banks move in rows of 16.
Although it is cool with the Native NLC to…

  6. M-Audio Code Series (Code25, Code49, Code61)

Official M-Audio Remote Control Scripts only covers some track control level...

Instrument level is lacking (device, ie: macros for instrument racks, etc.)

  8. Phew! Hard to condense into a concise title, so let me clearify: by default, pressing up/down or left/right in Matrix Session modes will move the Session frame one track/scene at a time, whereas holding shift while pressing the same buttons will move the frame in banks of eight. In the Options.txt file for the script in question, adding the line "GRIDNAVBY_PAGE=TRUE" will make the frame move in banks of eight by default.

I'd like to have the shift button consistently "invert" the functionality that is (or isn't) specified in the Options file, so that if you have GRID…

  11. I would make step sequencing in a live situation easier.

Also, the ability to disable the functionality whereby you have to wait the Clip's playhead to delete a note would be useful.

  13. Right now, when hitting record on my nanokontrol 2, Ableton starts to record clips in the session view. I would prefer if it would record into arrangement view, so the ability to change this function would be awesome!

  14. If possible, it would be nice to use Arsenal with these controllers. Not sure if it's worth it.

Though it has few buttons, knobs, etc, it could be quite useful with certain modes. :)

  17. I would like to be able to use a step sequencer on the push 2 and automate parameters with step automation like in PXT Live on the Push 1. Extremely handy.

  19. For controllers with a display (like push 1 and 2) it would be nice to display the chain names and have the solo buttons below the names on the first row of the matrix and the mute buttons on the second row of the matrix. It would be nice to have them to be momentary if held and toggle if tapped. Specifically for the Push 1 and 2 this could be used on the track state and track select buttons instead of the matrix so that it would not interfere with the current matrix mode.

I’ll review this. Note, however, that if it were added, it would not be specific to Push or Push 2. It would work with any (or at least most) Arsenal-powered Control Surface script with encoders.

  20. an arsenal script which would work with any midi controller that supports the MCU protocol, and function exactly like the standard Live mackie interface would with that controller, but you could link it with other scripts.
