  1. Using Arsenal APM, Changing Encoder Modes with Shift, or at least having the option to, would help a ton with workflow (essentially reversing the Shift and regular state of the Encoder Accessory Buttons in APM)

While it's nice to always have a visual representation of what mode you're in, having to hold down Shift to use the in-Mode Encoder Accessory Button functions is a little frustrating. I have the EABs in Clip Mode set up for some basic transport functions through ClyphX, including Session Record, which in conjunction with a note-based mode would create a really powerful workflow for laying…

  2. It would be awesome if it were possible to adjust the amount by which slices are nudged, and to be able to define custom Note Repeat subdivisions. There are already many other values that like smoothing that can be specified, and these would also be awesome to be able to define in a .txt file.

  3. Monome_64-Style Drum Sequencer Matrix Mode w/ Buttons for Drum Cell Focus Navigation & Drum Grid Selector.

Imagine a 64 step sequencer for a single drum cell note, ex: C2. You could program a whole 64 step sequence on this page. Press function button to navigate 1 step up to C2# or down to B1. You press a shift button and you can select the exact drum pad you wish to sequence from the 4x4 drum grid. While you continue to hold this Shift button the Drum CELL Focus Navigation Buttons become the Drum GRID Navigation Buttons.

    It’s be a treat…

  4. Being able to specify the Buttons just like you specify the Encoders in the Settings-Encoder Mode List. This would make the script much more flexible. One could decide between mute tracks, select track or even ClyphX Pro actions and so on.
Also being able to specify the buttons in Hazmap mode would be great.

  5. While in device Mode using Arsenal on the NLC for example there are 2 red buttons that select which bank will be in focus, 1 green button that defines if the device in focus is on or off and the last 2 yellow buttons that work as device left and right.

I was wondering... Would it be possible to make all 8 buttons correspond to each bank.

In Arsenal for example I have all encoder modes which includes all devices so in my LC the banks move in rows of 16.
Although it is cool with the Native NLC to…

  6. Currently clip scrubbing uses global quantization. It would preferable for it to use internal quantization (just like clip chopping) does.

  7. M-Audio Code Series (Code25, Code49, Code61)

Official M-Audio Remote Control Scripts only covers some track control level...

Instrument level is lacking (device, ie: macros for instrument racks, etc.)

  9. Phew! Hard to condense into a concise title, so let me clearify: by default, pressing up/down or left/right in Matrix Session modes will move the Session frame one track/scene at a time, whereas holding shift while pressing the same buttons will move the frame in banks of eight. In the Options.txt file for the script in question, adding the line "GRIDNAVBY_PAGE=TRUE" will make the frame move in banks of eight by default.

I'd like to have the shift button consistently "invert" the functionality that is (or isn't) specified in the Options file, so that if you have GRID…

  10. I would make step sequencing in a live situation easier.

Also, the ability to disable the functionality whereby you have to wait the Clip's playhead to delete a note would be useful.

  13. This would mimic the factory script function for executing Capture.
Capture is the best thing since sliced bread so it would be nice if it functioned the same in both the factory and NativeKontrol scripts (including PXT Live & PXT Live Plus).
I've found myself reflexively hitting record + new in PS2 and am bummed when it doesn't work.

  14. If possible, it would be nice to use Arsenal with these controllers. Not sure if it's worth it.

Though it has few buttons, knobs, etc, it could be quite useful with certain modes. :)

  15. Since Push's touchstrip is thankfully so supercharged with additional functions in Arsenal PS scripts, it would be convenient to have the ability to assign its default function depending on your usage pattern. For example, it would be useful to set the Arsenal PS touchstrip to control crossfader or sprung mod wheel by default, since you already have the default pitch bend function of it in Push's factory control surface.

  16. Right now, when hitting record on my nanokontrol 2, Ableton starts to record clips in the session view. I would prefer if it would record into arrangement view, so the ability to change this function would be awesome!

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to do things like this with control surface scripts alone. Other software of some sort (such as MT Player) is needed. We do plan on adding in this sort of functionality, but it’s going to take some time to figure out the best approach as adding more software into the equation adds quite a bit of complexity and we’d like to minimize that as best as we can.

  20. If I understand HazMap correctly, one mapped parameter occupies the entire column in the matrix, regardless of the nature of the parameter. I think it would be very useful with some new modes/sub modes. One mode would be geared more towards trigger fx (on/off), where all 64 pads could be mapped to their own respective parameters, and maybe a split mode, where the left half of the matrix would work like it does today (intelligent button sliders) and the right half would be 32 mappable pads. It would also be cool if the first of these two proposed modes could…
