  4. If a clip contains notes that are both muted AND un-muted you can use the 'Deactivate Notes for selected pad' as a sort of A/B flip. As an example you could have two different kick patterns in the same clip, within the same note lane, and alternate between them with the 'Deactivate Notes for selected pad' button. The activated pattern would deactivate, and the deactivated notes would become active.

It would be a button you could press and hold. While pressing and holding this button, when you press a pad to select it all the active notes corresponding to that…

  5. A slew of _SPLIT Modes would be very useful.
All the modes are so useful, more _split combos would be very helpful.
Modular _splits would be epic for modes that are applicable, allowing for user customization.

    Examples:
    1. Mix_Meter SPLIT Mode (would be literally the best clip grid midi mixer on the market when using a controller with faders and grid such as LPC MINI.)
Just think about how useful all those functions and visual feedback would be together on one page!

    1. Chop_Mix (view play location in clips and mix /mute /solo / arm controls all on the same grid)

  8. I would like to be able to use a step sequencer on the push 2 and automate parameters with step automation like in PXT Live on the Push 1. Extremely handy.

    • Velocity sensitive adjustment of faders on the matrix by holding a button and tapping the next button to send a value in between.
    • For non-velocity matrix controllers, double buttons to access values in between the 8 buttons.
    • Invisible faders on top of the meters in meter mode.

  9. an arsenal script which would work with any midi controller that supports the MCU protocol, and function exactly like the standard Live mackie interface would with that controller, but you could link it with other scripts.

  10. This feature is based on the "song mode" and "song order" features.
I would like to use a new navigation encoder mode to navigate in the whole set with :
    - an encoder to jump by song cues
    - an encoder to jump by inside-song cues (or all clues, if possible, using a modifier like shift )
    - an encoder to jump by inside-song scenes (or all scenes, if possible, using shift a modifier like shift)

These encoders are mainly to be used in STOP mode. Immediate Jump is recommanded (no quantization).

  11. I would like to choose a specific color for each displayed cue in Matrix Cue mode.

This is very helpful to identify a key event like song start or verse or chorus.
I would like to give each song a different color, and the same color code for chorus (red) and verse (blue) to all songs.

I suggest a global parameter editable by the user :
    CUECOLOR${CUENAME_PREFIX}=$Color

    For example :
    CUECOLORRED=Verse

...would set to the red color all cues with name starting with "Verse".

For more general usability, I suggest using regular expressions matching (https://docs.python.org/2/library/re.html

  12. I would like to split the whole set in songs. When playing a song I would like the matrix modes only to display elements related to the current playing song.

To achieve this, I would like to filter cues related to song start time, for exemple with a prefix "s_".

With two songs "song1" and "song2", I would create a cue for each at begin time named "ssong1" and "ssong2".
When playgin song1, only the cues between 'ssong1' and 'ssong2' are displayed on the Matrix Cue Mode.
In Matrix session mode, If I name a scene…

  13. Not all the cues are relevant to be launched in Cue mode. Some cues can be used only as simple information or ClyphX X-Cues.

A simple usage could be to previx with "_" the cues to be launched, and ignore the others.

I suggest a global parameter editable by the user :
    FILTEREDCUES=*

For more general usability, I suggest using regular expressions matching (https://docs.python.org/2/library/re.html) or at least joker style : '*', or name begin filter ''.

If not set, cue filtering is disabled.

  14. The current ableton script for this controller only lets you modify 12 tracks, 6 at a time with a bank toggle button that lets you access the other 6.
It would be amazing to be able to do navigation with this controller so you can use all the numerous knobs and faders to mix more than 12 tracks.

  15. It would be nice to see the OHM included in arsenal, and also have access to the same robust type feature integration as what you guys have for the OHM64 the OMC product series.

  16. I just discovered hazmapping and it's great ; what I would like to do is map 4 parameters (volume, one-knob filter, and 2 effects for exemple) on 2 tracks, this will create a good template for djing.

  17. This would allow Add Effect to select the first matrix mode, Add Track to select the second and so on. Instead of the default orientation where Note selects the first matrix mode, Session selects the second and so on.

  19. MPK 249 has 8 knobs & 8 faders & 16 pads + Display.
I want to see Live's parameters on MPK 249's display.
maybe it's hard for matrix mode.
but i think that's possible for encoder modes.
i wonder if i can see parameter's name on MPK 249's display for selected track.
