Arsenal Feature Requests

This forum allows you to make and vote on features and support for controllers that you’d like to see in nativeKONTROL Arsenal products.

Please make sure to look through current requests (including Declined requests) before adding a new request.

Also, there is no need to vote on requests marked Planned. These will be implemented in a future version of Arsenal regardless of how many votes they receive.

Suggest a feature or request support for a controller

  3. clip,device,instrument hotswap

    as with the push. the ability to hotswap clips devices and instruments. im not sure if this is possible without a display though. i know this can be achieved using keystrokes however when using multiple monitors having to use the 'display in focus' can cause issues

  4. LP1: Include surface switching option like LPC-Live 2 has

    This would allow the Launchpad to be used with the all of the various M4L devices created for it without the devices needing to be modified.

  6. NK1: better use of the FWD/RWD buttons (alternatively as option)

    I've never used the forward/backward buttons on any controller I've owned, and I'd really like these buttons on the NanoKontrol to do things like activate/deactivate loop, activate/deactivate overdub and, via SHIFT, activate/deactivate metronome and activate/deactivate global record.

  7. Toggle Clip/Device View when selecting same Track Select button again

    When in SESSION_SPLIT Mode, it would be nice to toggle the Device/Clip view when pressing the same/already selected track button.
    (I'd like to see quick access to Clip/Device View toggles in general, wherever it's practically applicable.)

  8. External App: Midi capture mode

    Captures chords and and single notes from a midi clip and sorts them on pads. Same as pxt live plus but add a playable 2 octaves above it like the other modes had. Being able to use this in a drumrack would be cool too, but at the least basic capture is nessary

    Modes of this sort are planned, but likely won’t make it into the initial release as they can’t be accomplished within a control surface script alone (they require 3rd party software such as MT Player, which PXT-Live Plus uses).

    Update: A mode (Note Capture Mode) that captures from clips is available now. It does not allow single pads to play chords however, just single notes. What I said above still applies to having pads play chords.

    Add the ability to change quantise settings by using shift>quantise.

    Create an editor that would allow us to reorder the native ableton devices so they match what we see on screen.

  11. Controller Support: Midi Fighter Twister

    MF twister is a sturdy and protable controller with:
    - 16 high-resolution endless encoders
    - Integrated push switches on every knob
    - Full LED feedback that syncs with software
    - 6 additional buttons on side of the unit

    I think this is a unique and powerful controller already and I'd be curious to see what the Nativekontrol team could do with it!
