Arsenal Feature Requests

This forum allows you to make and vote on features and support for controllers that you’d like to see in nativeKONTROL Arsenal products.

Please make sure to look through current requests (including Declined requests) before adding a new request.

Also, there is no need to vote on requests marked Planned. These will be implemented in a future version of Arsenal regardless of how many votes they receive.

Suggest a feature or request support for a controller

  1. Modular Session_Split Mode or Variations

    A slew of _SPLIT Modes would be very useful.
    All the modes are so useful, more _split combos would be very helpful.
    Modular _splits would be epic for modes that are applicable, allowing for user customization.

    Examples:
    1. Mix_Meter SPLIT Mode (would be literally the best clip grid midi mixer on the market when using a controller with faders and grid such as LPC MINI.)
    Just think about how useful all those functions and visual feedback would be together on one page!

  2. Arturia Beatstep

    ok, here's the thing: the Beatstep (not the Beatstep PRO) has a beastly problem - the encoders, of which there are a ton, they're meant for one thing and one thing only, to step through tiny values. So each little click is one half step, because they're meant for setting the internal sequencer. Well, this makes this unit almost completely useless as a generic MIDI controller because you can do a complete revolution of the knob and only make it through an octave and a half. That means you're scrolling for days if you map it to any normal control…

  4. Hazmap Mix 2 : control 4 parameters in 2 tracks (ideal for djing) instead of 1 on 8 tracks

    I just discovered hazmapping and it's great ; what I would like to do is map 4 parameters (volume, one-knob filter, and 2 effects for exemple) on 2 tracks, this will create a good template for djing.

  5. More than 64 SESSION_SNAP snapshots

    I'd love to see access to either 8 banks via the Scene/accessory buttons or, ideally, 64 banks via the matrix itself. I'd primarily use these banks to organize different pieces/songs in one Live set.

  8. Scale SEQ Preview Note mode

    if hold a button (on push like shift or select or some other free button)
    the first vertical row is for note preview.
    so we can prelisten what is on that row when using with something like 64perc drum rack or something else.
    maybe with backlit Led with 2 different brightnes to see where the root note is.

  11. Choose color for cues in Matrix Cue mode

    I would like to choose a specific color for each displayed cue in Matrix Cue mode.

    This is very helpful to identify a key event like song start or verse or chorus.
    I would like to give each song a different color, and the same color code for chorus (red) and verse (blue) to all songs.

    I suggest a global parameter editable by the user :
    CUECOLOR${CUENAME_PREFIX}=$Color

    For example :
    CUECOLORRED=Verse

    ...would set to the red color all cues with name starting with "Verse".

  12. Relative tracking for absolute controls

    Arsenal seems to run on a few controllers that have encoders/faders that send absolute values (APCs, nanoKontrol, SL, etc.), although the script has the capacity to control parameters on a more relative basis. In the case of the APC mini, which I use, there are only absolute faders.

    It would be awesome if there were an option to enable relative tracking for absolute controls. Combined with a momentary "Mute" button/button combination for those controls, it would be possible to use them just like endless encoders!

    For the momentary "Mute" function, Shift could be used (thought it already modifies the encoder…

  13. Selection matrix mode

    I would like a selection dashboard matrix for visual over-site and quick navigating in 2 layers. The first layer with track selection (around 24 or 32 tracks), some presets for the red box, and direct selection for 8 devices. And in the second layer the device selection stays, but the other pads change to direct device bank selections for several controllers.

  17. combo of cue and navigation mode

    it would be great if there was a matrix mode mixed out of cue and navigation mode. in my imagination it would be the optimum if the button matrix normally works like in navigation mode, but when you press shift you can select cues and the matrix accessory function as a visual metronome and when you hold shift you can add, delete,... cues (exactly like in cue mode)

  18. Create a new encoder mode for navigation

    This feature is based on the "song mode" and "song order" features.
    I would like to use a new navigation encoder mode to navigate in the whole set with :
    - an encoder to jump by song cues
    - an encoder to jump by inside-song cues (or all clues, if possible, using a modifier like shift )
    - an encoder to jump by inside-song scenes (or all scenes, if possible, using shift a modifier like shift)

    These encoders are mainly to be used in STOP mode. Immediate Jump is recommanded (no quantization).

  20. momentary macro control of matrix mode

    for example,
    on launchpad, when i use device mode,
    if i press button to go value 127, it's go yes.
    but for using "beat repeat grid parameter",
    after holding 127 , then going back to 0 (zero) value,
    it will be really convinent.
    my request means momentary macro value when i do holding down,
    then go back 0 .
