1. ClyphX mode that utilizes push screen to show X-Control names and actions

   Ideally this mode would show a grid of all pads with action names on each. Maybe a 32x2 format could work. Could then select a pad with Shift + pad, and then show the complete action list for that pad.

   This wouldn’t be possible as Encoder Modes own displays. Matrix Modes only have momentary access to displays. It would be possible to have an M4L device that serves as an onscreen display to show the assignments in ClyphX Mode though. I’ll look into that.

2. public feature/product roadmap

   A feature/product roadmap would be really usefull.
   For example, if a feature is not in the feature roadmap this would allow me to better plan my setup build

4. I would like to control Clypx user actions properties with Global User Matrix Mode

   In Global User mode, Clyphx actions only use one color.
   I would like to be able to link each Clyphx action to a property in the ClyphXUserActions class, as done for example for the Song class for the metronome property.

   With this I can configure boolean parameters for my User Actions.

   I use it to activate/deactivate the singer track for live/studio modes.

   I can give additional technical elements for this.

   This wouldn’t be possible as ClyphX doesn’t handle LED feedback (there is no sensible way to provide feedback in reference to an action list). So the LEDs of buttons assigned to ClyphX actions are locally controlled – they simply change state upon being pressed/released.

5. Song order : Order songs by configuration

   This feature is based on the "song mode" feature.
   I would like to define the song order by configuration.

   Let's consider the set contains 4 songs named : song1, song2, song3 and song4 located with dedicated cues : "ssong1", "ssong2", "ssong3" and "ssong4".
   For a live concert where I want to play in order song3, song2 and song4, I would like to define the list in a configuration file.

   I suggest a global parameter editable by the user :
   SONG_ORDER=song3,song2,song1

   I also suggest to define a dedicated cue at the end of each song, just before the start of the next song, to trigger the jump to the next song.

6. Automatically loop between begin/end cues

   I would like to be able to define arrangement sections to be looped automatically.

   This is typically to be used for live improvisations. Lot of songs have a chorus section that may be looped for an extended solo part, which duration may change at preformance time.

   I expect to define a begin cue and an end cue for each loop. When the begin cue is reached, the loop is set to fit the begin and end cues, and automatically activated. The loop mode is exited when running LOOP OFF action.

   A simple usage could be to add cues named '(' and ')' for the end and begin cue.

   It would be a better choice allowing to add begin/end capabilities on an existing cues. Considering I want to loop from 'chorus1' until 'verse2', I could rename cues like this : '(chorus1' and ')verse2'

   For more general usability, I suggest using regular expressions matching (https://docs.python.org/2/library/re.html) or at least joker style : '(' or'')', or name begin filter : '(',')'.

   I suggest two global parameters editable by the user :
   LOOPBEGINFILTER=')'
   LOOPENDFILTER='('

   When empty, this mode is disabled.

7. Launch song parameters commands at song begin

   When a song starts, I would like ableton to automatically run a configurable list of commands setting song related parameters : bpm, signature and other user-specific parameters.

   I suggest a global parameter editable by the user for the definition of song parameters:
   SONGPARAMETERSFORMAT=BPM,TRANSPOSE,SIGNATURE,KEYBPATH,FXPATCH,DRM_PATH

   In this list BPM and SIGNATURE are Ableton standards. The others are related to external instruments.

   For each song I defined the value for each parameter:

   To execute this parameters, I use Clyphx syntax :

   Edit: After reviewing this, this idea wouldn’t be practical. You can momentarily switch to modes that play notes (such as Scale Mode) to accomplish this.

9. Matrix vertical split option to configure a mode for the top lines and another for the bottom lines.

   I would like to use 4 lines of global user matrix mode at the top and 4 lines of cue snap mode at the bottom. In fact I only use 4 lines of each but I would like to display all at the same time without the need to change the current mode

10. I would like to use more than 8 device mappings grouped by name with HazMapping

    When I play with a device using Arsenal, I would like to use more than 8 mapped parameters and to have a one-button access to these parameter groups based on group names.
    The Ableton standard Push play mode proposes these with groups Named bank1,bank2,etc... wich is not very usable.

    Ubermap proposes an extension to name these groups and to organize parameters into groups with a configuration file :

    I made changes to the code to make it work for live 9.7.1 with ClyphX and using Push1 and Push2 in parallel, with standard Ableton modes.

    I’m not entirely sure what you’re requesting here. The title mentions HazMapping, but the examples are related to Instant Mapping (control over the selected device ala Device Mode).

    In any case, there are similar requests already related to both types of mapping. So I’m declining this for that reason.

    This wouldn’t be possible unfortunately. You could try renaming the process or moving it to another location before the gig though. That way, the process couldn’t be launched by Live.

13. Arsenal Matrix Mode : Choke Track Mode

    if we suppose there is 2 track ( Track A , Track B )
    and, if we suppose there is 2 Clip on Each track ( Clip A , Clip B)
    first, I trigger Clip A. then ! when i trigger Clip B,
    Clip B is stopped.
    it mean when i trigger Clip B, Track A's Stop Clip button is trigged.
    it's like all track's clip playing way is in only one track.
    or another good way to do this mode is,
    using solo.
    when i trigger Clip A, Track A's solo is On.
    then, when i trigger Clip B, Track B's solo is one & Track A is Unsolo.
    the two way is each advantage.

    if i want to keep the start point place of each clip (LEGATO)
    and if i want to choke track more glitchy (like device off)
    the soloing is mute other track's output perfectly.

    if i just want to keep track's sustain sound after i trigger other track's clip.
    the stop clip button fucntion is way better.
    i think so two mode can be made from this idea.

16. Option to "Unarm" at Session_Record

    option to set "Unarm" after finishing recording ( clip trigger again)

    after trigger clipslot on sesson_record, recording is started.
    then trigger again, recording is finished. but arm state is sttill on.
    but if there is option (maybe txt file) to turn off "arm" on after recording,
    i can use the clipslot as clip stop button. but if it's arm, i have to do unarm

    UPDATE: I’m closing this as it this couldn’t be done via a mode like I mentioned in the comments. However, offering an SDK for other developers is still on the wishlist.

19. Ability to trigger midi note melodies with a single pad

    Not sure if this is possible....but it would be great to have a mode like PXT-Live Plus Capture that not only allows single notes and chords to be triggered with single pads but also the ability to trigger melodies with single pad hits (ie: hitting a pad once and triggering multiple midi notes from the clip in succession). Perhaps the clip would have to be sliced according to location to enable this.
