Song mode : Identify Specific Cues for songs to split the whole set, and use them to filter Matrix modes
I would like to split the whole set in songs. When playing a song I would like the matrix modes only to display elements related to the current playing song.
To achieve this, I would like to filter cues related to song start time, for exemple with a prefix "s_".
With two songs "song1" and "song2", I would create a cue for each at begin time named "ssong1" and "ssong2".
When playgin song1, only the cues between 'ssong1' and 'ssong2' are displayed on the Matrix Cue Mode.
In Matrix session mode, If I name a scene "ssong1" and another "ssong2", only the scenes between "ssong1" and "ssong2" are displayed.
These modes provide "inside-song-navigation"
For these two modes, when using a modifier (like shift or other), only the cues and scenes related to songs are displayed . This is the higher navigation level : "song-to-song-navigation".
Note : this higher level mode does not exist in cue mode (shift is already used for quantization mode). In Session Mode, it overrides the selection based on 8x8 clip blocks.
To configure it, I suggest a global parameter editable by the user :
SONGFILTER=s*
For more general usability, I suggest using regular expressions matching (https://docs.python.org/2/library/re.html) or at least joker style : 's*', or name begin filter 's'.
If not set the song mode is disabled.
