  2. This layout is available with the native Push script.

With the 4ths> chromatic layout, each column of pads is a 4th higher than the column to the left of it. While the default chromatic mode (4ths going up) is great for playing lines, 4ths> is a really nice layout for chord progressions. The main benefits are:

    1) the bass notes mostly stay in the first 2 columns on the left. This way there are fewer situations where hands are crossing or on top of one another, which can reduce visibility.

    2) it lends to more natural voice leading of chords.…

If you mean, move the start point back to the beginning of the clip, you can do that by pressing the first button assigned to Clip Chopping. If you mean re-align a clip that has fallen out of sync, you can do that holding down Shift and pressing one the buttons assigned to Clip Chopping.

This is the same as in the Clip Chopping functionality from PXT-Live.

  6. Just a couple of things I'd love to see in the Global User mode:

    • Direct device selection (something like DEV SEL 1 - select the first device on the track, DEV SEL 8 - select the eight device)
    • Insert and arm track with MIDI or audio input from the currently selected track. PXT has a feature like this for audio recording; it would also be handy for MIDI, particularly if you want to record output from an arpeggiator.

I’m not sure I understand the first part of the request as that’s already possible by using ClyphX assignments.

On the second part, I’ll implement that within ClyphX.

Finally, there is only a single Global User Mode that works with all matricies (that’s the case with all of the Matrix Modes available from the site). I’ve edited the suggestion to reflect that.

UPDATE: Added INSAUDIO and INSMIDI to ClyphX in v2.5.6.

  7. Ability to set Scale setting as " Chromatic " default instead of " In Key "General.txt when i first open Live

This may be possible. For now though, it can already be done with ClyphX via start up actions.

You’d just use something like this in your STARTUP_ACTIONS in ClyphX’s UserSettings:
    ARSENAL_LPP_A SCL INKEY OFF

    UPDATE: Added in v1.0.1

  8. Arsenal Editor ( like D.D.C editor ) that has all every txt files for settings.
    but it's more user friendly.
I can change every txt files's settings in this Arsenal Editor at once.

The settings files used in Arsenal are very simple to edit so they’d don’t require an editor. DDC settings files, by contrast, are extremely complex and so they do require an editor.

That said, an editor would be convenient, but would add cost to the products and so it isn’t justifiable as a standard feature. It may be possible to offer as an optional add on though.

UPDATE: There is a beta version of an editor available here:
    http://beatwise.proboards.com/thread/3219/beta-arsenal-settings-editor

This is already implemented. It appears something was changed in Live 9.7 causing it not to work though. I’m not sure if it’s the result of a bug or not, but I’ll research it.

  11. This way, if you're playing a clip on a track and want to switch to playing a new clip, you could select the new clip, stop the currently playing clip and immediately start playing the new clip.

  14. Just like is already possible in Session Mode. All modes that use the arrow buttons for moving the grid selector should allow for moving the selector in increments of 8 when shift is pressed.

  15. Basicly the same as the Modes for EQ8 and Filter. Control the Looper (if ther is one) on the selected Track. Example (for NLC): Encoders Control Feddback etc, the button row controls Record, Play Overdub etc.

The HazMap Modes added in v1.0.2 can control the parameters of any device. However, Looper’s State parameter (Looper’s transport functions) cannot be properly controlled via scripts due to a bug in Live’s API. So, for now anyway, you’ll need to use MIDI mapping to control the State parameter.

  16. I find that certain modes benefit more from parameter smoothing than others. I like the idea of playing the X/Y pad mode kind of like an instrument, so prefer it with no smoothing, whereas in other modes I'd like a gradual transition. Would it be possible to specify smoothing on a per-mode basis? Not an essential feature, but I think it could be useful.

  19. Novation just updated their firmware to allow scales. The implementation is a little better than Arsenal, selecting a scale is presented similarly to Arsenal, however, when selecting a scale the notes of the scale are lit brighter on the selection area (different than the playable area) than non scale notes. This helps visualize the scale. Also there are 32 scales instead of 24 and you can choose the number of overlapping notes for the grid.

Alternatively you could allow the native functionality of launchpad for the modes.

You can already access the standalone modes of the LP Pro when using Arsenal_LPP. I will review adding it as a script-specific mode for Arsenal_LPP for better integration than is possible in the standalone modes.

As far as the displaying of scales, I will review that as well though it would only be viewable with controllers that have enough LED states to handle it (for example, it certainly wouldn’t be possible with the APCs as they don’t have enough states to do it).

In terms of the number of scales, more is good I suppose, but then the ability to save scale selections within Live sets (as is possible with Arsenal) wouldn’t work correctly. So that wouldn’t be doable.

Update: Launchpad Pro Note Mode was added in v1.0.0b4. So this request is being closed. I added a related request for the displaying of scale degrees here:
    https://nativekontrol.uservoice.com/forums/139950-arsenal-feature-requests/suggestions/15727884-root-note-selection-buttons-reflect-degrees-of-sca
